The production account system uses secure cookies required for authentication, anti-forgery protection and account security. These cookies are necessary to provide sign-in and protected subscription/admin functionality.
Security properties
The authentication cookie is designed to use the __Host- prefix, Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite restrictions. Anti-forgery protection uses a separate secure token/cookie flow for state-changing requests.
Analytics
No advertising or behavioural-tracking cookie is enabled in this package. If analytics is introduced later, SaTiN must review data collection, retention, consent requirements and update this policy before enabling it.
Managing cookies
Browsers can block or clear cookies, but disabling essential authentication/security cookies will prevent protected client features from working.
