1. Agreement
By creating a client account, accepting an order/quote or purchasing a SaTiN subscription, the customer agrees to the applicable order details and these terms. Custom development work may also require a separate statement of work.
2. Accounts
Customers must provide accurate account information, keep credentials confidential, use strong unique passwords and promptly report suspected compromise. Administrator accounts are subject to stronger security controls including MFA.
3. KC Billing opening offer
The current catalogue lists the KC Billing core opening offer at NPR 12,000 and optional add-ons at NPR 1,000 each for the same subscription term. The checkout/order presented before payment defines the applicable billing period, included limits, renewal terms and price. Backend pricing, not browser-displayed values, determines the payable amount.
4. Taxes
Prices are shown exclusive of VAT unless checkout expressly states otherwise. Nepal's standard VAT rate is 13% for taxable supplies, but SaTiN will enable VAT charging only after the company's actual registration/tax position is confirmed. Customers remain responsible for taxes assigned to them by applicable law.
5. Payments
eSewa and Khalti authentication occurs on the provider's hosted service. SaTiN does not request payment-provider passwords, MPINs, OTPs or online-banking passwords. A gateway redirect/callback is not by itself proof of payment; SaTiN activates a subscription only after server-side provider verification. Bank transfers require verification before activation.
6. Acceptable use
Customers must not use SaTiN services to violate law, attack or probe systems without authorization, distribute malware, abuse other users, defeat access controls, infringe intellectual property, or process data they are not legally entitled to process.
7. Availability and changes
SaTiN aims to operate reliable services but may perform maintenance, security updates and emergency changes. Service-level commitments, if offered, must be stated in a separate SLA/order and are not implied by this website.
8. Customer data
Customers retain rights to their business data subject to applicable law and the agreed service terms. SaTiN may process that data only as required to provide, secure and support the service. Data export/termination procedures will be documented for production KC Billing subscriptions.
9. Intellectual property
SaTiN retains rights to its reusable products, product architecture, code and brand unless a written agreement states otherwise. Ownership/licensing of custom client deliverables is defined in the relevant statement of work.
10. Suspension and termination
SaTiN may suspend access where necessary for security, non-payment, legal compliance or material misuse. Where practical, customers will be notified and given an opportunity to resolve non-emergency issues.
11. Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, SaTiN is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising solely from use of the website or service. Any project-specific warranty, indemnity or liability cap stated in a signed order/statement of work takes precedence. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that applicable law does not permit the parties to exclude.
12. Governing law
Unless a signed customer agreement provides otherwise, these terms are intended to be governed by the laws of Nepal, subject to any mandatory consumer or jurisdictional rules.
